Newsreel Noises features a collection of unwanted noises, rumbles, hums and crackles collected when digging through copies of newsreels from the the 40ies and 50ies of the last century. Whenever such a newsreel starts or ends a lot of side noises occur and each one plays another pattern of mysterious sounds.
The library delivers more than 150 WAV-files with embedded loop points. Each file has a descriptive name where the first part describes the strongest element of the sound and the second part gives additional information about the structure of each sound.
With background experience in video editing, I understand what is needed when it come to sound for TV production. With this and my love for sound I founded Detunized in 2009. Under the Detunized brand I release themed sound libraries that are handy in size and will allow the sound editor to quickly find what they are looking for whilst working on a production with tight schedules.
