Khron Studio presents an exclusive collection of 989 high-quality sound recordings of gym machines, captured with professional equipment to ensure unmatched clarity and detail.
Inspired by Real Gym Environments
As strong advocates of a healthy lifestyle, we spend a lot of time at the gym. While training, we noticed the unique and powerful sounds produced by different machines, sparking the idea to record them for sound design purposes.
To provide maximum flexibility, we recorded every machine using:
– Sennheiser MKH 8050
– Sanken CO-100K
– Geophone
– Tascam X8 Portacapture
– Sound Devices MixPre-6 II
All recordings were captured at 192kHz / 32-bit, allowing close-up recording without distortion and preserving ultrasonic frequencies for advanced sound manipulation.
